I dont have much time... but i thought id just post a quick update.
I saw my first gigantic spider. Literally three inches across... hulking across the floor of our shower. I screamed bloody murder and im not afraid to say it. then i turned around and got the crap scared out of me by a stupid lizard.
It rains so hard here... last night shawna and i had to yell at each other in order to hear what we were saying becuase it was so loud... there was 3 inches of standing water on the patio. its crazy! but really cool.
we had our first bus and taxi ride yesterday. the taxi ride was histerical... basically careening through the overcrowded market in a total rattle trap with no seatbelts. i could not stop laughing. people haul around ANYTHING on the tops o these busses. some guy grabbed a bed off yesterday. haha.
my teacher is really nice... but she is not kidding around! haha... i suppose thats good for me... no slacking or cracking of jokes.

OK...I am truly sorry I missed the screaming bloody murder spider scenario! What did Inez do and her husband do? Were they home? On a whim, I'm thinking they probably get a pretty good laugh over you two. bahaha! "Stupid american woman"

beckles, i don't know what to say. except that i like your face/miss it. oh and the rain sounds really cool! well, not that i've heard it, but i mean it sounds like it would sound really cool...shutting up now. haha
no cracking jokes to the teacher? oh no. what do you do then? haha, but really, that kinda sucks. its hard to relate to people who don't have much of a sense of humor i've decided. are you and shawna in the same class? i'm a tad confused about the schools actual details.
geez, i keep forgetting to do a google earth search! i'll get right on that.
i do pretty much miss your face alot. i told elis, i had a moment when i saw a claude-lookalike in a parking lot here. my heard got sad for a moment. just fyi :)
you could try the ever-so common and fool proof modeling technique if you can't crack jokes...

this whole entire scenario just made me laugh sooo hard. haha and public transportation! i would love to experience that kind of crazyness! :)
