the long and the short of it.

i have 10 mins for this post...and we all know what a crappy typer i am so here goes.

after survivng the longest day of our lives...it is official that we have never felt so homeless. and we look it. lol.

but, we made all of our connections, and WE SAW STONEHENGE. took a freakish amount of photos to document it...as it turned out to be much smaller than what we thought, and somewhat anti climactic. but, we did see it. :)

we were also told today that our scarves (yes, we are still wearing them...as you will se as soon as we can upload phtots...hopefully paris.) make us look a bit classy. they dress up our mangey homeless look...so we're told by some random people from ventura that we met on the bus on our way out to stonehenge. it was nice to have some american comraderie again...becuase the native uk'ers, generallly speaking don't like hannah and i's loud american ways. we haven't made much of a splash. haha.

but, i must go get the grime off of me...i have never felt so disgusting in all of my life. i am relativel unshaven...due to the lack of shower space lately...(too much information?? yes, especially since i don't know who all is reading this...but i'm so over that. i've lost all sence of propriety...), the same clothes since leaving oundle on account of the fact that they are my warmest, and i can't be any colder, and quite possible the worst hair that the uk has ever seen. my 'ethnic hair' (good one krizz) is fully in the final stages of revolt right now. and honestly, i could care less about it...sort of.

so yeah, i'll update more in paris. :)

You met random people from Ventura? Were they tall and blond and Marshalls? haha, even from here, I hold out hope for you and you-know-who.. :) I am really excited to see your pictures! I miss you. nothing is the same without you. I don't get quite as excited about carpooling everyday because I don't see your yellow shirt(s) mocking me at the shop every morning. And your little armss. oh the little arms. hey, i have my court date for my speeding ticket. June 6th is the day. I'm sort of outrageously excited. I would be.. who knows why. anyway, I'll talk to you later on here!
p.s, how small was Stonehenge? for some reason O thought it would be huge! and now I'm envisioning something the size of a snow globe. thanks for the shot of reality. :)

Oh Beckles...sounds like you're having a good time despite the few setbacks (A.K.A. being freezing cold and getting lost...) I was thinking about you today in my history class because we were listening to a record , yes record, of the Caterbury Tales and the narrator spoke in "middle english" which to me just sounded like a mix of german, irish, english, and maybe some italian or french sprinkled in. It was very hard to follow. Why did that lead my thoughts to you?? Because you are surrounded by that jibberish right now! I know, I'm very good at connecting things :)
Well, I thought I'd just drop in to say hello and that I enjoy reading about your endeavors in Europe. And also, I found out today that Jeff is going to be in Shelton from July28-August2.
I hope you enjoy your trip and I will be dropping in on you again soon :)

Oh Beck how you are missed. It feels like it is quite frantic where you are now..im sure you brought it with you. Now that you've been introduced to it you are taking it with you across the world. Good job. Hopefully you get to shower soon, im sure thats no fun, and not just for you either..ha. Anyways. now marianne has me thinking stonehenge is itsy bitsy too, i cant wait to see more pictures! i can just imagine you guys wearing shorts and sandals, but with scarves! haha, well i hope its warmer now and i cant wait to see where youve been! Have fun!

ROTFL! You crack me up so bad!! Mangey homeless attire, eh? ha! You met people from Ventura...were they better dressed than you? Just wanting to make sure that the entire UK doesn't think we are all a bunch of transient lunatics in America. lol. I'm sorry to hear that Stonehenge was the size of a snowglobe...it sounds like Marianne is franticly grief stricken in the awkwardest way possible, and I know that I am something akin to frantic with grief as well. So, the whole no shower thing...you found out the limit to the whole " creation super-hero no shower and still smell great" power, eh? Let me know exactly how that worked and the stages involved so that I can log them away for future use. I mean, my super hero no shower power may not have a limit like yours, but in case I should ever find myself in a position where it might, I would like to know what that looks like. :) Anyway, I will talk to you later. Love you!

I miss your ethnic hair. Man, I hope you get braids with sea shells on the end. That would totally add to your americaness.

But mainly I just miss you. Your tendrils are just a side thought. Stonehenge is possibly one of the most overrated world wonders, but it's mystery is provoking.
