OK, i seem to notice that the themes of the comments are requests for a visual on the scottish outfit choice. Well, you're going to have to hold yer horses becuase we can't upload any pictures while we're in edinburgh. Hopefully when we get into cantebury tomorrow night we will be able to do it. Can't promise anything though, the night after that we are having our first couchsurfing experience with a family in Beaveus, France. that's right, in two days hannah and i will be hitting the mainland with a bang!! (and a bang it is, i'll let you in on our itinerary for the next two days, simply because if we pull it off, we are at superhero status.) So, if we can't upload the photos in cantebury, it'll have to wait until we get into paris...we should be able t do it there somewhere. If not the hostel, then i'm sure we can find an internet cafe that we'll be able to do it from.
Anyways, so here's the plan for the next two days...
Wedensday:
walk down to the edinburgh train station from the hostel at 5:30 am so that we can get on the 6:00 train to salisbury. (a 7 hour train ride...only one train switch though which is very very nie. we don't like train switches. they involve locating our new station. hence the threee hour walk through the ghetto.)
once in salisbury, get a bus out to stnehenge. (20 minute ride) and be there for like half an hour...and then catch a bus back to salisbury.
find the train station, and head to cantebury. (4 hour ride...) arrive cantebury at 9-ish pm and get a cab to our hostel. hopefully upload pics and then crash.
Thursday:
cab to the train station at 6 am so we can get on the 6:30 train to dover, so we can get on the 8 am ferry over to calais.
arrive in callais at 10:30 and find the rail station so we can get on the last train of the day to beaveus at 12 pm. arrive in beavues sometime in the afternoon and find our way to this families house. most likely another cab ride to it. get there...crash, and get out of there early in the morning, becuase the woman leaves early for work, so we'll have to head right into paris at the crack of dawn....and pull what we are now calling 'a london'.
(definition of 'a london' : arriving in a city way, way early in the morning. locating our hostel. dumping our crap there...and heading right out and getting a jump on the sight seeing. coming back when we are able to check in and taking a power nap...getting up and heading out again.)
The reason for this madness?? we have to be out of the uk before our rail pass expires on the 31st....and we have to see stonehenge before we leave the uk. so there you have our crazy plans for the next 2 or 3 days. :) if we survive this...we are awesomeness. lol
so yeah, that's the update of the day. love you all!!

ok becky...here was a day at the shop that you truly would have appreciated and i think you are sorry that you missed.
picture this...glen k. and natalie h. standing at the counter talking to little sara (who was early for work, and marianne and i were still on shift). i was hurrying to make drinks, and of course someone at the window ordered a sugar free mocha something or other...hot (so a paper cup). as i said..i was in a hurry, and at an awkward angle due to little sara's position...so i'm slamming down on the pump...and then it happens...s/f choc goes shooting out. i'm not quite sure where it has landed...so i quickly, but descretely scan the area...then my eyes move up and i see it...one glorious speck of sugar free chocolate after another...on natalie h. (rasp latte..you know) and her nice lovely white cardigan, and a few on glen's brownish shirt. but...do they notice...oh no. so what do i, the responsible barista that i am, do? i said nothing!!! i acted like nothing happened...i kept on making the drinks...trying not to laugh, because here she is...in white...oblivious to her new speckeled look. little sara is trying not to laugh, marianne is trying to avoid eye contact with anyone...for fear of laughter.
when they finally see, it happens in slow motion...first glen notices his shirt...and promoptly starts liking it off...then natalie sees some on her right sleeve, then her front, and finally the majority of it that has landed on her left shoulder. i then quickly say, oh..yea...i think that's s/f choc. i saw it squirt everywhere, but didn't know where it went...because apparently i'm blind...but i was so flustered...i didn't apologize, or even offer a free drink card...i just kept saying well...the s/f choc does squirt.
then...later that day...i had to fight the urge to clober barb j. because she thought that since we were busy with something, that if she got behind the counter, and stood between me and the window, i could pay more attention to her...i mean the world does revolve around her.
the day was topped off with a visit from fat charlie (what i now like to call charlie v). oh...and yesterday, the return of beatrice and her very sheltered daughters (poor things, very long hair and long skirts). don't you miss the shop? it misses you. don't forget to think about us this weekend...the parade day and all.
my parents say hi, jeremy lovingly askes if you're a peein', and yesterday salem, erin, sarah hap, me, jer, and ed played badmiton...and all you're doing is traveling around europe having a great time...so over rated. love and miss you more than the top to the choc pump. the original geni....hi marianne! (she said she was going to make sure i told you of my day!)
oh my gosh..i just read some of your other posts, and i almost peed laughing at the fact that you told everyone that you have no undies!!! how's the hair? is the weight of the hairspray worth it? and i never thought about that with the chacos...funny...you and fat charlie might start becoming buddies...using the internet as long as you want for free for buying a coffee. huh....isn't that interesting@!!
Bam Bam, can you believe you missed a day like that at the shop??!! you so should have been there. it was the most insanely hilarious thing that i have ever seen in my life. and i've seen a lot of hilarious things! i hope you feel as if you were there. maybe we'll have to do a reenactment when you come home. Sue was sooo hilarious about it. she just kept on making those drinks as if nothing had happened!
anyway.. tons more to tell but not on here.. way too many viewers.. haha, bye bam bam!! good luck with all your frantic travels the next few days.. and weeks. :)
wow, i don't know what to comment on first, your frantic, yet well organized next few days, or that insane day at the shop. I just won't say a thing. Those stories speak for themselves. :) I miss you a lot though. Geez, sometimes I lose a whole nights sleep because of it. haha But seriously, I can't wait till you're back. "return to me! Oh my dear heart's so lonely! hurry home hurry home won't you please hurry home to my arms." i don't really want you to hurry home to my arms but I thought a little Dean Martin would get you through the dreary days. :) And it's cathartic for me
I must say that Kristin's Dean Martin was completely called for and "I second that emotion!" 1-2-3-4 I declare a lyric war! OK, just kidding, cause I'm not that good at it. lol. You will totally pull off the "Stonehenge project" (ooo...that sounds like a bank job...exciting) purely BECAUSE of your already existing awesomeness! But I'm biased. It is SOOO nice here these days...80-85 degree days. Went sailing a few days last week with PM and Lori, but we're so slammed this week, that I don't think we're going to get out at all...we're hoping maybe once...maybe Friday. Anyway, I'm headed to the beach before I go into the office this morning. PM and Lori are coming to pick up the Chevy this morn cause I'm giving it to Todd...I'll fill you in by email. I went down to the spit at 11pm last night when I got home...layed on the hood of my car under the stars (playing David Crowder's "stars" song quietly in the background, of course) The moon was really bright...and it was very warm still. I needed to clear my head, and I found myself missing you so very, very much. "It's always better when we're together...mmm...we'll look at the stars when we're together" I'm having a good lyric day! :) K, I'll talk to you later. Love you!
ok...i just used all of my minutes to respond to everything that is going on here...and the freakin computer did something (not sure what) and it's gone. :/ anger...it's been a long day.
anyways, i'll redo it later...but love you all...and i miss you guys!! it really makes my heart happy to have comments on here. me and hannah are really addicted to comments on our blog...we miss having other people. dont' get me worng, we're having a blast...but seriously, it's just the two of us...so we LOVE comments!! anyways, yeah...(elisabeth, we are overdue for a spit-sit!!)
